LPG: Borkir to expand operations across Africa

Borkir International Company Limited, a Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) trading company in Nigeria and across West Africa, has announced plans to become the leading indigenous LPG trading company in the West and Central African region. The company which was incorporated in 1999, said it plans to serve its customers’ needs through the safe and reliable delivery of LPG at competitive rates. Borkir, an indigenous company member of Nigerian Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association, is also into the distribution of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and the conversion of Autogas. The company is into retail, bulk trading and distribution of LPG and CNG with her Autogas conversion centres in various locations in Nigeria. Borkir supplies her product within West Africa and the Nigerian domestic market. With over 80 LPG trucks, the company, in a statement made available to Sweetcrude, said it ranks amongst leading LPG distributors in the West and Central African region. Borkir, the statement noted, provides dependable and efficient product to her customers anytime, adding that the company has nine standard LPG filling plants and three under construction in different parts of Nigeria. It stated further, “Services available in the plants include filling heads, digital weigh control system, fill quality check, leak detectors and other accessories. The plants are of reputable standards to meet the customer’s needs in quantity and safety requirements. “Distributor’s cylinders are picked up, refilled and delivered to respective outlets. We also offer various customer services such as training, cylinder checks and full support to our clients. Our LPG supplies are available to hotels, schools, restaurants, hospitals etc. “Our mother stations are located at Ibese in Ogun state and Obajana in Kogi state where natural gas is compressed and stored in special modules, afterwards distributed to daughter stations and industrial use as an alternative source of energy. “Our CNG daughter stations will be sited in various locations including Kwara, Abuja, Kaduna, Kano, Port Harcourt and Aba axis with multiple dispensing points available. And the second commences as soon as the first phase is completed.
