[SAD NEWS] Kaduna United’s Coach, Saleh Tanko Is Dead





The coach of Kaduna United, Saleh Tanko, is dead. The coach, also known as ‘Lato’, died on Sunday morning in Kaduna. He died of a brief illness and has since been buried according to Islamic rites. The coach, also known as ‘Lato’, died on Sunday morning in Kaduna.
He died of a brief illness and has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
A minute silence was observed in his honour before his team took on Crown FC in Ibadan on Sunday in a Nigerian Premier League clash.
Kaduna United lost to their host, 0-1.
Before becoming a coach, Lato had played as a central defender for Ranchers Bees of Kaduna.
The Club Owners sent a condolence message to the Management, players, officials, supporters and fans of Kaduna United Football Club over the death of its coach Lato who died after a brief illness.
The Association described the death of coach Lato as shocking and untimely considering his commitment and service to the club as well as football development as a whole.
