Lagos recovers capsized boat

Lagos State Water ways Authority (LASWA) has recovered the wreckage of the boat which capsized and claimed eight lives on Wednesday.LASWA’s Managing Director, Mr. Yinka Marinho, said the boat was recovered during the search and rescue operation yesterday. He explained that besides that boat that was recovered, the logs that it ran into which caused the accident was recovered and towed to the yard of the authority.He said that other detached logs on the channel that could be dangerous to navigation were towed to their Falomo Jetty.
