ABUJA — NO fewer than 16 victims of last week’s bomb blast at Nyanya, Abuja, currently undergoing treatment at Asokoro General Hospital would soon be discharged.
This came as the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, yesterday, visited injured victims of the blast and donated provisions and cash to them.
A senior nurse at Asokoro General Hospital who wants to be anonymous, told Vanguard that the 16 victims were responding to treatment but would still remain in the hospital as they were yet to receive the nod of the doctors for discharge.
However, many of the injured have been released from Asokoro and Maitama district hospitals as well as the National Hospital, Abuja, according to senior officials of the medical facilities, who conducted members of the Federal Capital Territory 3 Province of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, round the wards to donate cash and provisions to the victims.
