Guess How Much Kidnappers Received For Anglican Bishop

The Department of State Security (DSS) have arraigned three suspects who allegedly kidnapped Most Rev. Ignatius Kattey, the Anglican Arch-Bishop of the Niger Delta Province, and his wife, Beatrice. Chibueze Nwaogba, Onyedikachi Emmanuel Okoro and Philip Chikaodiri Ogbuewu where alleged to have kidnapped Most Rev. Ignatius Kattey and wife last year on September 6, 2013 at Aleto Bridge, Eleme, in Eleme Local Government Area, Rivers State. Rivers State Director of DSS, Mr. Apok Nyam said that the suspects collected about N10 million as ransom before letting the Archbishop go. The men face a 17 count charge and have also been charged with the kidnapping of Ukel Jerome Agba and Mrs. Anna Agba and a lot of other people. Aleto, Eleme. Trial Chief Magistrate, I. Agbesor said they should be held in prison custody because his court had no jurisdiction to hear the case. The case has been adjourned till September 1, 2014.
